Martingale & Company, that patchwork place.   For all the quilters, crafters and knitters this is a good site for patterns and materials plus they offer additional free patterns to try your skills out. Their current free pattern page includes a hearts and bows quilt, a knitted vest, and for you paper crafters a thank you card.

denverfabrics.com. This site besides having a terrific line of dance material, you can register for a free Simplicity pattern given away each day. Good luck!

Glass Patterns quarterly Nice variety of free stained glass patterns. These patterns will print out small, but you can go to any architectural office supply or office supply to have them reproduced from copy to fit specific a size.

Free Woodworking Plans Detailed working plans, some even with step-by-step guides. MDM especially liked the mission style plans.

Dear MarkDownMom- This is not a very complete list of freebies. Any chance you can update us with more freebies soon? Also, if any other blog readers have any cool websites for freebies, please post a comment so I can find them! Jenna

Dear Jenna-Thank you for your input and the referenced links.  Although our mission statement is dedicated to bargain hunters and includes tips, sources, sale alerts, and other articles directed to getting the best buys for your money, our listing with regard to freebies has been an additional feature related to that mission.  There are several excellent sites for freebies, that editorially we made a choice not to duplicate or to act on in the capacity of a server.  However, since we are a relatively new blog,  that is not to say that they should not be included and expanded on this site in the future as part of  that mission.  This category has a lot of potential and one we will definitely be looking at.  Again, thank you for the sites, and please feel free to add others.  Happy bargain hunting, Jenna!  Markdown Mom
